Galactic Dream Review based Changes

Changes since James Allen Galactic Dream Review (Nov. 01, 2007).
Article at: jaguarusf.blogspot.com
"I will say that the developers have shown a willingness to improve the game, which bodes well for the future of Galactic Dream. Based on my initial feedback I alluded to earlier, changes or enhancements were made, so it appears that Galactic Dream is not one of those games where it is released and the developers throw away the key: a good sign for longevity."
"Antiquated user interface, drawn out dialogue that must be manually advanced, ships must stop in order to fire, very difficult."
New GUI (interface), faster automatic switch between dialogue lines, ships fire while moving, game difficulty considerable decreased.
"This by-the-numbers real time strategy game has a fast pace and big fights, but it is somewhat hindered by a steep learning curve, high difficulty, lackluster features, and a bland presentation."
New tutorial adds to a better presentation of the game as a whole.
"The game was very rough around the edges and it was missing a lot of common features, so I let the developers know this and they actually listened to my feedback and made a number of improvements in 1.01. Apparently my opinion matters, or something."
Everyone's opinion counts for us and we will not stop listening to what players have to say about Galactic Dream: Rage of War. Each time a negative aspect or a lacking feature is pointed out by either a Galactic Dream Review or players, we take action and improve our product. We think that a game is never complete.
"I've *lost* countless builder units because they chose to hide next to a newly constructed building."
True! However, new units knew now how to *separate* themselves from the buildings they emerged shortly after Allen's review get out.
"Clicking on the minimap will reset your zoom level."
Fixed after reading Allen's Galactic Dream Review.
"There isn't any voiced dialogue in the campaign, though."
Now we have little voiced dialogue in the campaign, even more, text dialogues were shortened throughout all campaign.
"I wasn't able to test online performance because I never found any opponents to play against."
The demo allows you to play against a human opponent. If you want to play with us, post a message into the forum and we will respond.
"The two races in Galactic Dream are identical except for different ship names and some small, generally insignificant changes."
There is inaccurate information in Allen's Galactic Dream Review. Units are different between species.
"The user interface has been improved since I last saw it, but it's still tough to get pertinent information in a timely manner. There is a lag after you select units to when their information appears on the screen."
Fixed after reading Allen's Galactic Dream Review.
